The event was opened by the Governor of the Vologda Region, G.Y. Filimonov, who congratulated all representatives of the scientific community on the holiday.
The awarding of the best workers in the field of scientific research became a solemn part of the holiday. Representatives of universities and scientific institutions of the region received diplomas and commendations from the Governor of the region and the Ministry of Economic Development, Industry and Trade for their contribution to the development of science, for active pedagogical, scientific and research activities.
For their great contribution to the development of Russian science and the achievement of high professional results, the staff of the VolSC RAS were awarded honorary diplomas by the Governor of the Vologda Region.:
1. Maria Andreevna Gruzdeva, PhD in Economics, Leading Researcher, Head of the Center for Socio-Demographic Research at the VolSC RAS.
2. Leading Researcher, Head of the Center for Structural Research and Forecasting of Territorial Development of the VolSC RAS, Candidate of Economics Evgeny Vladimirovich Lukin.
For their personal contribution to the development of Russian science and the economy of the Vologda Region, high professionalism, and conscientious work, they received letters of appreciation from the Ministry of Economic Development, Industry, and Trade of the Vologda Region.:
